Seasons Greetings…

Merry Christmas...

Put up a splash of Christmas spirit

Up with Christmas cheer

Students Students Students…

Atleast once a year we here at The LCV get involved in student projects.

A little giving back to the youth of today!

This year has been no different as we helped 2 students from the Greenside Design Centre who had a project to make a chair out of CARDBOARD.

So very interesting!

They arrived with their cardboard and drawings in dxf/dwg format on Friday afternoon, Nath nested the sheets and the gents on the floor cut the parts for them.

We look forward to our A+’s!!

Welcome 2011 – LCV Goals.

Here at LCV Engineering Solutions, we took on a project to build two 10 ton Blasting Doors, and eight 6 ton smaller Blasting Doors in a time period of 6 weeks.

Last week LCV had a visit from Peter Middleton Editor of the African Fushion & Mechanical Technology magazinge, Peter was particularly interested in a current project on the go at LCV.

LCV is always interested in interesting guests…

Sir, what is your management style?

In a recent interview with the Operations Director and Managing director of LCV Engineering, they were asked “What is your management style?”

After a moment of thought, taking a second to reflect on the current LCV project Mr & Mr Richards as seen below…

Allan & Donovan Richards

Allan & Donovan Richards

Had this to say…

” We both firmly believe in the hands on approach to management, lead by example.” They both agree. “A problem is never to big that we cannot overcome it. My father has pretty much built the business on the fact we can do anything. ” Explains Donovan. “It’s something we pride ourself on”
